Blue is law enforcement. Legacy is the lasting impact you leave behind. Leadership training is what we do.
Blue Legacy Leadership was founded by Randy Moody, a retired law enforcement professional with more than 30 years of service — from frontline supervisor to chief of police. After directing the Aurora (CO) Police Department’s Training Academy and Leadership Development Program, he set out to do in retirement what he did in uniform: develop the next generation of leaders while enhancing the skills of seasoned veterans.
Around here, the people you lead are not subordinates; they are followers. The way you lead them builds a legacy they will remember.
Every course is taught by a 30-year law enforcement veteran who led at every level — patrol supervisor, academy director, chief of police.
Programs developed by TalentSmartEQ — the emotional intelligence company behind the best-selling Emotional Intelligence 2.0 — delivered by a certified trainer.
Interactive, high-energy sessions use concise presentations, real law enforcement examples, discussion, and practical exercises — so participants are actively applying the material, not just listening to it.
“Very engaging — and obviously cares a great deal about the subject matter.”
“Does a great job of relating the material to real-life examples.”
“Shows a genuine interest in developing others — personable, likeable, knowledgeable, and interesting.”
