Randy Moody is a retired law enforcement professional with more than 30 years of dedicated service across leadership roles in Colorado and Missouri. His career spans from frontline supervisor to chief of police, leading diverse teams, boards, committees, and specialized units along the way.
Notably, Randy directed the Aurora (CO) Police Department’s Training Academy and Leadership Development Program — shaping the next generation of officers and leaders through innovative training, including a leadership curriculum focused on coaching for improvement. That program carried a name that stuck: “Leadership Legacy: What will be yours?” It became the foundation of Blue Legacy Leadership.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Missouri State University and a Master’s in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership (LEPSL) from the University of San Diego. He is a licensed Insights Discovery practitioner and a certified TalentSmartEQ trainer in Developing EQ in Policing and Leading Through Friction.
